Whether you're eight-years-old or 80, you can benefit from a regular activity programme and it's not as hard as you might think to incorporate it into your everyday life!

We have some fantastic Interactive Training Plans on this site just for you – you can go for a swim before work, on your lunch break or in the evening. And if you are trying to get in shape to tackle a big event, such as one of the Great Swims, you will benefit enormously from following a simple training plan.

It's always a good idea to check with your doctor before beginning any exercise regime. After you have been through the training plans here, if you want a more vigorous programme, you can join a sport/fitness club or hire a personal trainer.
