Hi,

I have entered my first ever run which is the BUPA GSR. I had been following a training and all was going well... until a few weeks ago I pulled a ligament in my knee and had to rest for two weeks.

I did a 5k run last weekend, but had to take really easy so not to cause any damage as the injury has been treated.

My race pack came today and I am having a big last minute stress about the whole thing. I will be able to complete the race, but on a much slower pace than anticipated - aiming for 2 min walk, 1 min run pace.

Can any experienced BUPA GSR runners tell me if there are ever many others completing the race in this way or will I be the only walker, left behind with all the water bottles?!!
