Do you think nike gear is essential? Does it actually make a difference? I beleive that it makes you mentally acheive more.

Nope nope nope. The only thing essential is decent trainers and a desire to want to run.

Yes - you run with your feet and I wouldn't put nike on them either.

I have recently been bitten by the running bug - I dont know what trainers I should be going for ...any suggestions?

Hi ribbons

i would get to your nearest running shop (up and running or other
) and get your feet looked at...then look at what type of trainers you NEED,be it neutral,support or like me overpronating self, motion control.....have a good look at the types of shoe in the type you need as there are more than just nike on the market...hope that helps
