Hi All
Looking for advice & help. Set up a training plan for GNR stuck to it best as i could. Got the time i aimed for.
Now set up a training plan for a Marathon. Had a good look at it. Its telling me the longest run i need to do is 2 hours easy running. At my pace that is only half distance. I tought i would have to train up to 3 hours plus or 15 - 20 miles.
Please advise me
Peter

I have a place on the FLM 2009, It wont let me do a plan with the 26/04/2009 as the event date, it says that it is a 16 week plan and the date is too far ahead... surely i need to train for longer that that.
instead i have set up a "keep fit" one until January, which is when 16 weeks starts is this right? or should I start the Marathon training now? and just restart it on the 16 week marker?
pls help me

Hi yes it did the same to me. Training as it tells me to January.
Then do a new one in January for May. I will be adding 40% to the time its telling me to do each run.
Dont think i am getting the correct target.
Hope this may help.
