Hi all, I have just taken part in the GNR08 which I really enjoyed but at around mile 10 I started to get a bad pain at the bottom of my rib cage which made breathing painful. I dont think it was a stitch because I can usually control them with breathing properly and slowing down, with this pain though nothing seemed to work which resulted in me having to walk a couple of times. Any info anyone has or suggestions would be mucho appreciated.
Thanks Pete.

Hi, Does it happen after any routine (like proximity to meal times or hunger)? Could it be a sort of acid reflux or indegestion? I work with a Physio who seems to think chest pain in young people isn't usually linked to anything serious but if your worried (or it happens outside of physical activity) you should probably get it checked out.
Hope that helps?!
